Career in a year

An illustration commissioned by IV Studio for the Tennessee Community and Technical Colleges. This piece was about early childhood education and I loved creating a story around a young teacher and a pupil learning the solar system. The large diorama was used to create a dynamic composition, framing the two main characters. Having a restricted color palette, it was great challenging myself and create a different mood to my illustration. I wanted to create a fresh and explanatory piece, suitable for animation.
